Hub II

Hub II is Simon’s private mix and production studio, opened in December 2007 after several months of planning and building work. Hub II has been designed to make it possible for Simon to work on a variety of projects, enabling him to devote as much time as necessary to production, recording and writing whilst still being capable of turning out mixes of the highest standard.

Based around an SSL AWS900+ SE analogue/DAW console, Protools 9 HD2 Accel rig and high level acoustic design, Hub II is a state-of the-art facility and, in Simon’s capable and experienced hands, has already turned out several hits.

Although he spends a large proportion of his time mixing Simon’s production projects require the use of a lot of extra equipment. Consequently Hub II is equipped with a full separate Logic Pro 8 rig, instruments and a spacious vocal/overdub room. The studio’s proximity to High Barn Studios (www.high-barn.com) also gives Simon the facility to record on a larger scale. For equipment info please click here.
