Huski – “Strangelove”

I’ve worked with Huski for a few years now producing and mixing on both of their albums (“Love, Peace, Pain” & “Strangelove”) and singer Maple Bee’s solo album, “Home”. I worked on the first album at Home Recordings and Hub, my home studio, at various points through 2005/6 and the second album was finished off at Hub II through 2008/9. Most of the Huski tracks that I worked on stayed fairly fluid in terms of their arrangements all the way through the production process. I think it’s a tribute to the strength of the songwriting that the arrangements could be experimented with so much, stripped down & rebuilt, without much difficulty.
