U2 – How to Dismantle and Atomic Bomb
I mixed three tracks for U2’s 9 million selling 2004 album: “Sometimes You Can’t Make It On Your Own” (UK No.1 single), “City Of Blinding Lights” (UK No.2 single) and “Yahweh” (the album version is a different mix, my mix appears on the limited edition iPod version of the album). All the tracks were mixed with Nellee at Home Recordings. I won a Grammy in 2006 for my work on the album. I went to the LA ceremony just for the experience of attending but ended up onstage with the band and the other producers & engineers! There are a lot of details about the mixing process in my interview for Resolution magazine in March 2011.
